Mfuwe Lodge is positioned inside Zambia's famed South Luangwa National Park, along two spectacular lagoons where an endless stream of wildlife will keep you enthralled. Chindeni Bushcamp is located on the edge of a lagoon, where hippo chortle and elephant wallow. There’s something about sleeping under canvas that ignites a sense of adventure, and Chindeni is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful tented camps in the South Luangwa. The spacious tents with wooden floors, four-poster beds, cozy sitting areas, en suite bathrooms, and vaulted canvas ceilings, are so inviting that you may never want to leave your room. Gaze out from your private deck onto the lagoon which attracts birds and animals from miles around. The camp is solar powered with limited battery charging available. The central lounge and dining area is a glorious expanse of decking arranged on several levels around the surrounding ebony trees, with spectacular views of the serene lagoon and its inhabitants. Avid game viewers and birdwatchers can set out on walking safaris, game drives, night drives and scenic sundowner trips in the surrounding area. Chiawa Camp rests in the shade of a grove of mahogany trees on the banks of the Zambezi River in the Lower Zambezi National Park.
