More Quarters Hotel provides an authentic experience of Capetonian living with easy access to the scenic and exciting city of Cape Town. The all-suite hotel is perfect for couples and families alike, looking for a private space, but coupled with the convenience of a luxury hotel's services and amenities. The suites are unique in décor and layout with a character and appeal of their own. Each suite has a lounge, a fully equipped kitchen, tea/coffee making facilities, ensuite bathroom, extra towels and linens, hair dryer, complimentary wireless internet access, iPod docking station, satellite television, in-room movies and electronic safe. It’s simply impossible to choose a favorite. The hotel facilities include a lounge with a fireplace, library with complimentary internet access, breakfast room and 24-hour concierge service. A return shuttle to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront runs three times a day and access to the nearby Virgin Active Health Club, with return transfers are complimentary.
2. Lion Sands River Lodge
Family owned and managed, Lion Sands Private Game Reserve is situated in the southern portion of the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park, the only private reserve to have access to the perennial Sabie River. Lion Sands River Lodge is nestled under a canopy of trees dating back almost 800 years. The suites are decorated in contemporary African design, complete with luxury furnishings, thatched roofs and mosquito nets. Each air-conditioned suite has a private viewing deck, ensuite bathroom, indoor showers, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities, minibars, and safes. Relax in the lounge area or one of two public pools after an afternoon game drive. A host of adventures such as tracking the Big Five in open vehicles by day and at night accompanied by qualified game rangers and Shangaan trackers, and going off road for exceptional close wildlife encounters, make for a truly memorable experience. Drink in the picturesque scenery on a Cape Peninsula tour as you drive along the exquisite stretch of coastline. Relish the views along legendary Chapman’s Peak and take a ride on the Flying Dutchman funicular to the old lighthouse. Enjoy lunch at the Cape Point Vineyards before heading back to Cape Town. The day begins with a cable car ride up to the summit of the legendary Table Mountain, where you can enjoy breathtaking views. After descending the mountain, drive past the Castle of Good Hope, the country’s oldest building, and a short distance away, the Company Gardens, both historically fascinating and well-conserved. Enjoy afternoon at leisure. Later this evening, enjoy an interactive Djembe drumming session will get you in tune with Africa’s rhythms. Dinner is a set course menu consisting of Cape Malay and African cuisine, served by beautifully adorned staff who will explain each dish to you and the country from which it originates. Be captivated by the drummers, singers and graceful Mali Puppets as they dance around your table. At the end of the evening you are returned to your hotel. (BD)

The Cape Winelands offers breathtaking scenery, warm hospitality, and world class cuisine. Visit Babylonstoren, one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms, for lunch. The garden is the heart of the farm and is laid out over 8 acres with the Greenhouse tucked away at the rear, the ideal spot to enjoy lunch. Meals are served picnic-style in wooden crates with preserves, jams and salads presented in mason jars. After lunch, take a stroll through the picturesque village of Franschhoek and visit Haute Cabriere - a winery that produces top-rated Chardonnay and Pino Noir wines. As you visit the cellar during your trip, the guide will explain all their winemaking process and their selection of grapes. Spend time outdoors, enjoying the patio setting, overlooking the mesmerizing Franschhoek Mountains before returning to your hotel. (BL)

Say goodbye to Cape Town and transfer to the airport. With a couple of short flights, you’ll be in a private reserve bordering the famous Kruger National Park.
