The rooms are accommodated in banana-stem thatched huts, each with a private balcony with French doors that leads to magnificent views of the surroundings. Each room has a telephone, Wi-Fi connectivity, a large, comfortable bed and the marble en-suite bathroom. Each room has two queen-size beds with a mosquito net around them. Ceiling fans keep the rooms cool and glass sliding doors open out on to a balcony, with a great view of the landscape beyond.  Wildlife can sometimes be spotted while sitting on the balcony. The bar is located between the lobby and the dining room furnished with comfortable seats for total relaxation. The dining room is a large, spacious, and airy room with an enormous outdoor patio.  All meals are included.

3. Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge

Each spacious room has its own small veranda with interior décor reflecting the blue of the lake and the pink of the flamingos.

4. Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge

A circular terrace looks out over the grounds and the swimming pool. Breakfast and lunch are presented in buffet-style, while dinner is a table d'hôte menu. 5. Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge

Tanzania, Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Hugging the contours of the jagged Crater rim, the lodge takes its inspiration from the so-called ‘Cradle of Mankind', the prehistoric site of Olduvai Gorge, which lies close by. Linked by arched stone passages and timbered decks, its walls are decorated with stylized prehistoric cave paintings and lit by flaring torches. At the stone heart of the lodge burns a glowing fire, which is kept constantly alight. Each room has its own rock- enclosed balcony, and all enjoy completely uninterrupted views of the volcanic amphitheater far below.
